Saab’s US sales continue to rise as a result of the successful launch of the Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan. Year-to-date, sales are now exceeding 40,000 cars for the first time in 16 years, with 40,800 cars sold representing an increase of 26 % compared with the same period last year. During October, 3,349 Saab cars were sold in the USA, an increase of 1,511 units.
“We are looking forward to a new sales record now that we have also introduced the new 9-3 Convertible”, says Debra Kelly-Ennis, CEO for Saab Cars USA.
Hans Karlander, head of Sales Management at Saab Automobile, comments: “We are increasing sales in nearly all markets compared to last year. October’s sales results in Sweden and the USA are very positive and sales in Europe are wholly in line with our internal forecasts.”
